Before 1966, Michel Gingras and Denise Paquette ran an estate where the land was used to produce tobacco, strawberries, wheat and more. Early in 1967, just before Expo '67, a man approached Michel with an offer to purchase the land to build cottages to welcome visitors from around the world, notably those headed to Montreal. “What a great opportunity!” thought Michel, and after speaking to his uncle, who answered, “That’s a dreamy idea you have there!” The dream was born. After many years of hard work and sacrifice together with their children, the Camping Domaine du Rêve campground opened, and our family is very proud of it!
Today, the Camping Domaine du Rêve campground is a choice destination for seasonal campers, travelling campers and families vacationing in Quebec. Offering original activities, amenities and high‑quality services, this campground is THE place to stay with family or friends during your summer vacation.
